And we, took the ferry over, 50cents per trip
That is how the locals cross over, easy and reasonably cheap transport :)

Was in time to attend my grandad's funeral,

but I cried when I couldn't make it for grandma's,

I was in nz that moment.

And yes, it was sudden, she was still quite healthy.

So as soon as dad came to shanghai, he took a few old contacts from grandma's notes I guess

My grandfather was a china man, he came to Msia when he was 10 years old, ALONE

Dad tried to trace our other relatives in china, meaning grandfather's siblings

Tried to trace from the old village, some contacts yadi yada yada

and he found them!!!! they're right here in Shanghai!!!

So it was a pleasant morning when we were out in Lincoln Town packing back some Fish&Chips. Coincidently we found this flyer about this cute 3 weeks old kitten. Still Strolling the town of Nelson

We had the map, and off we went to search the northest

I'm not sure bout you guys, but I just love the greens here

There aren't much straight long highways like KL's here
But most of the motorway leads to hills and farm roads
So those who are really into hiking or probably jungle tracking stuff could find heaps of it here

Anyway, we decided to take some fresh air, chose this interesting Lookout

(Look closely, the scenery we're suppose to find was exactly in the board.....but guess what)

All we saw was this =.=

It was our mission to search for the northest of nz's south island. Disappointment it is when we only found a small little village. One small quiet village indeed. We almost gave up till we found this isolated road after searching around the village.
OFF WE WENT TO WHARARIKI BEACH!

It was definately not the usual road that someone would take, we were driving at 20!

BORING!!

Gotta check out by 10am. Standard timing for any backpackers everywhere. Drove around Picton but everything was closed! The town was SO QUIET! Check out "i site" (its where visitors usually go to check out info on the city or activities in nz, more like the information center of the that certain town) and head off to this "ECO WORLD Aquarium".

AH! another boring place, nothing much in those aquariums.

First stop:

Kaikoura

- Small town, one of the tourist attraction. Dropped by for lunch, tried out their famous clayfish. YUMM YUMMM. It was sunny, wind was breezy. Its Irfan and me on this trip, others didn't make it due to transportation problem. But oh well.....i can't wait for the next following days! :) Also stopped by the seal colony attraction place. But there weren't any seals there! =.= Well its probably because we reached quite late in the evening, seals ar usually out on those rocks during the day.

Second stop:

Picton

- I'm getting the hang of this travelling experience. No arranged plans, no booked activities or accomodation. So Irfan is the pilot, nicole being the lousy co-pilot was SUPPOSE to be responsible on the maps and destinations. I slept during the journey. HAHA! Well managed to look through the travelling book, called up the few backpackers for vacancies and here we are settling in. Place is sweet! I wouldn't expect for their fully equiped kitchen and rooms all. They have spas, tv lounge and all. I just so new to all these man, liking thhe backpackers life :)

Hello there! I'm finally reporting from chirstchurch. I've been busy, sorry for the lack of updates :)

I've been good. Things are going quite smooth as well. Been around in christchurch and that's about it.

ITS my two weeks break now and i'm gonna try checking Nelson and Westcoast tomorrow. It's the north part of the south island in NZ.
I'm all packed with my backpack and ready to leave tomorrow!

There's nothing much here in Christchurch, but the few things I do realize

- Ciggies are EXPENSIVE!
- We don't usually carry around cash, it's always with EFTPOS and credit cards.
- They're really active in sports.
- Kiwis are REALLY crazy about rugby! Both genders!!
- Maori has their war dance known as "haka"

Maori War Dance
The words are chanted loudly in a menacing way accompanied by arm actions and foot stamping. A haka was traditionally performed before charging into battle.

Rugby is definately their thing here. Haka is performed before the game. Check this out! its really interesting!

So travelling here is ABIT difficult. The only transportation i could get is the bus, NZD3 to travel downtown. Could u imagine carrying 5 huge HEAVY plastic bags up to the bus, down the bus, 5 mins walk back to your hall. OH my beloved vios! you kat maner :'(

Friends and I finally tried exploring some chinese convenient stores that has some chinese products. You know cooking is really fun, till it gets to the cleaning part then I'm lazy. -_-'

But thing is, transportation problem, takes at least 15mins to get to the nearest supermarket. Oh well there are buses from my campus to town though. Abit pricey, if only I have my vios with me now :(

FINALLY! The internet! had hard time trying to figure out why couldn't i surf the web.

I'm pretty much settled in. A cold and a fever as soon as I arrived the airport. Sickening. Had some complications with the transportation to uni. Apparently the guy that was supposed to pick me up left earlier as my flight delayed! Had to take a cab to uni myself then. PAY MYSELF AS WELL! NZD50 for the 15mins ride frm airport!!

Place is nice really. The rooms are comfy, kitchen has pretty much everything. Have been lazing in my room since I've arrived. SICK MA.....!!

1st - Christmas was so-so..I got to meet my old buddies though :D It was great seeing them again. Daaaaang!! Now I do believe in friends forever man!

2nd - I'm looking forward to New Year's Eve. Might be heading down KL to join in the celebration yo..!!

3rd - I'm leaving to New Zealand soon :'(! so I'm gonna miss you people out there!! YES YOU!! I'm talking bout each and every single one of YOU! We'll be rockin Kuantan all day and night on cny aight!!! I won't be gloomy & blue all day I promise xD

I'm angry, i'm disappointed, here I am looking at people enjoying themselves proceeding on a path which i used to be in. However, i'm out of those path now. I'm not sure whether to consider myself growing up or to consider myself being left aside. Basically the main reason was i had to be out from those path due to certain reasons.

And cause of those certain reasons i am not happy.

-Friends comes first before me. Who the fuck i am then? I'm the one who does the complaining all the time, know why? cause words that truly comes frm the bottom of my heart was taken lightly and left aside again. Always being put aside. Shes the oh-come-on-lets-put-her-aside girl aint it? All she wants was to be loved and from what she sees there aint any......

-Ignore her, shes a bitch, she doesn't belong anymore. Oh shit its her again, ah come on lets get out of here./ Ah maaaaan, who cares about that woman, we're better off without that girl anyway.

My Future

Plans plans plans, i have totally no idea whether i'll get into the course i'm aiming, whether or not i'll be able to get into a uni and whether or not my results could fulfill the requirements. I'm worried!! Theres ntg else i could do now but to wait till sam's results are out. geeeeessshhh...........

In the mean time, I'm helping out with my teacher's concert. Students under HLMS (Hui Ling's Musical Studies) are working together to put a good show on the night of 7th dec 2008. ME!! as her ex student was offered an opportunity to choreograph a dance for em =)

and past few weeks had been fun teaching these younger girls, reminds me of ME, well the younger me. Felt so free...away from problems, influence, attention, pressure, "people" etc..

4 months

Its been like what? 4 months!!!! No more sam, no more assignments, no more deadlines, worst of all..no more G2 =(((

Finally realized how much i miss them.. TONS OF STUFF happened for the past 4 months, too much to say too much to describe. Great, unpredictable, weird stuff i could never experienced again....its fun to actually just put everything in front of us and just go with the flow.....without having to plan and organize...

And as time goes, we'll know which are the ones who are actually worth having around. Certain shows their true character when it comes to attention, greed and vain.
